Sandra Day O’Connor College of Law
The Sandra Day O'Connor College of Law is part of Arizona State University (ASU), one of the premier metropolitan public research universities in the nation and an important global center for innovation, interdisciplinary teaching, and research.
The College harnesses the power of the small and the large, with a faculty-student ratio of 10:1 and the resources of a tier-one research institution. LL.M. Programs
The College of Law offers four LL.M. (Master of Laws) courses or degrees that can be taken full- or part-time.
The Customized LL.M.

LL.M. in Global Legal Studies
As international interaction increases dramatically, the need for attorneys able to deal across international borders increases dramatically, too. The new LL.M. in Global Legal Studies, housed in the Center for Law and Global Affairs, is a uniquely personalized course of study focusing on the many facets of transnational law.
LL.M. in Biotechnology and Genomics
Advancements in technology, from stem cell research and genetically modified organisms to DNA forensic science evidence and nanotechnology, raise a multitude of legal questions about privacy, intellectual property, regulation and liability. The LL.M. in Biotechnology and Genomics, housed in the Center for Law, Science & Innovation, offers in-depth exposure of the complex intersections of science and law.
LL.M. in Tribal Policy, Law, and Government
Under the guidance of nationally prominent faculty, students address the nature of tribal government, law and policy development within the domestic U.S. federal structure.
Application Procedure
The LL.M. Application process requires the following:
>A $60 application fee (credit card / check / money order);
The complete LL.M. application form;
A personal statement that is no longer than 1,250 words on double-spaced, typed pages;
>A resume that does not exceed three typed pages;
>A writing sample;
>Two letters of recommendation;
>Transcripts from all institutions attended, including the transcript showing that the bachelor's degree and law degree were conferred.
International applicants must complete additional requirements, including course evaluations by the World Education Service (WES), evidence of English proficiency as indicated by an acceptable TOEFL scores (100 iBT), and verification of financial resources.

Tuition
Resident tuition for 2010-2011: $25,471.
Non-resident tuition for 2010-2011: $39,595.
