Cardiff Law Library welcomes self-service and wireless technologiesInnovations made in 2007 to the law library have resulted in positive student feedback and greater functionality. Course books in heavy demand in the Short Loan collection were tagged over the summer of 2007 so that library users could issue books themselves at a new self-service terminal. The new ‘DIY’-style additions to the library library has proved very popular. Students wishing to issue library resources no longer need to queue to borrow short loan books. This change has also benefited library staff, allowing them to concentrate more on student queries and other demands.
