Birmingham Law School
Currently celebrating its 80th anniversary, Birmingham Law School was rated 7th in the country in the 2008 Guardian survey of Law Schools. It is research-led, and received a 5 in the last Research Assessment Exercise. At Birmingham research and teaching are inextricably linked and mutually reinforcing. The academic staff are regular contributors to the academic literature and national and international policy-making processes; and we offer a wide range of modules based around our research strengths in areas like commercial law, criminal law and criminal justice, European law and international and human rights law. The School has its own computer clusters for student use and a dedicated Law library on-site.
