Master of International Business & Tax Law (LL.M.)
First degrees in law or jurisprudence tend to focus on national law and convey largely theoretical knowledge. What is increasingly called for in practice, however, is a knowledge of international legal systems. In addition, corporate legal departments and law firms are increasingly coming to expect young professionals to have acquired a command of skills and methods that can immediately be put into practice. Through the Master of International Business & Tax Law degree programme you will obtain post-graduate training in international business and tax law that leaves you ideally prepared for the challenges of modern legal practice. Nine programme modules provide you with a thorough grounding in the following key subjects:

• European Integration
• Corporate Finance
• Competition
• International Trade
• Technology Markets
• Capital Markets
• Taxation
• Foreign Legal Systems
• Drawing up Contracts & Claim Prosecution

In addition, two optional modules offer you the opportunity to fine-tune your soft skills or build your ability to apply scientific working methods. The degree programme is designed primarily for lawyers employed by either financial-sector companies or management consultants, legal interns, attorneys in small or medium-sized law firms, and non-lawyers working in closely associated fields. Frankfurt School of Finance & Management offers this programme in conjunction with Management Center Innsbruck (MCI). Tuition will take place in Frankfurt am Main and Innsbruck. This will not, however, mean interrupting your professional activities. Upon successful completion of the programme, you will receive the degree of Master of Laws (LL.M.) and will be qualified to play a responsible role in an international legal context.
