Kent Law School is a dynamic and cosmopolitan place to study a variety of taught and research degrees with an international and contemporary focus. A thriving centre of theoretically informed, critical and socio-legal research, the Law School provides a stimulating environment in which to learn. Students are immersed in the culture of research, with Kent Law School widely regarded as a centre of excellence in legal research and teaching; we were awarded a rating of 5 in the 2001 UK Government Research Assessment Exercise (RAE).
Kent Law School is a cosmopolitan place to study, with students from over 80 countries studying within the department. Postgraduate courses are offered at our beautiful 300-acre parkland Canterbury campus, which overlooks the historic cathedral city of Canterbury and is a short distance from both London and continental Europe, and at our Brussels campus in the political heart of Europe. International postgraduates are given full support with additional English-language tuition if required.
Our award-winning law library has been a leader in the development of electronic resources for legal teaching and research. Our law librarian is available to train students to use these resources, and to help them find exactly what they need from our well-stocked paper library.
