With us, you’ll learn to excel. The new LLM incorporates the existing PG Dip Legal Practice Course (LPC) followed by a research project. Our course content is relevant, practice-led, and ranges from civil litigation and dispute resolution to business, property and family law. It’s all taught flexibly, by knowledgeable and engaged lecturers who’ve worked in the private sector.
We don’t just talk about employability – we actively go out and make it happen. We’re nestled in the heart of Cambridge and just 45 minutes away from London, where we have a good and ever-growing network across the city’s chambers. Our links with employers are strong, and we’re proactive about using them to source and nurture opportunities. So whether your ambitions are local or international, you’ll be very well connected. And through our law clinic, solicitors’ forum and mock courtroom, you’ll be able to put everything you’ve learnt into practice in real-world settings. It adds up to a superb, and consistently highly rated, learning experience
This, combined with the quality and relevance of our teaching, leads to a very high number of our alumni who move right into training contracts. And it continues to rise. Our pass rates are outstanding, as is the percentage of students who achieve distinctions and commendations – and it’s not hard to see why. Delivered by lecturers who know how law is applied, our teaching builds confidence as well as expertise. And it nurtures the development of driven, focused students who question everything. So when you graduate, you’ll do so with far more than just a certificate.
Studying law with us is a very personal experience. Our small class-sizes allow positive relationships with lecturers and fellow students to easily form. No matter how serious and technical the subject, our teaching remains refreshingly informal. And our lecturers are engaged and involved, which means you will be too. The result is greater freedom to learn in a way that’s perfect for you and your ambitions.
