Glasgow School of Law alumna named Scottish Politician of the Year
Nicola Sturgeon, Health Secretary and Deputy First Minister in the Scottish Government was named as Scottish Politician of the Year 2008 at the 10th Scottish Politician of the Year awards ceremony on 13th November. She also won the Donald Dewar Debater of the Year award for her outstanding performances in the Scottish Parliament.
The University of Glasgow School of Law is pleased to announce that alumna Nicola Sturgeon, Health Secretary and Deputy First Minister in the Scottish Government was named as Scottish Politician of the Year 2008.
She received the prestigious accolade at the 10th Scottish Politician of the Year awards ceremony on 13th of November. She was also the recipent of the Donald Dewar Debater of the Year award for her outstanding oratory performances in the Scottish Parliament.
