New LLM offers students more choice
Cardiff Law School will launch a new LLM programme next autumn giving students greater flexibility and offering them a number of specialised study routes.
Already renowned for its excellence in teaching and research, Cardiff Law School’s new programme is set to improve its postgraduate opportunities further. The new structure means students can opt for a general LLM in Law or choose to specialise in Canon Law, Commercial Law, European Law, Human Rights Law or Medical Law.
'The new LLM programme will enable students to choose modules from different areas of law that appeal to them, giving them access to academic expertise in these areas and the ability to tailor their studies to their own professional or employment needs,' said Professor Gillian Douglas, Head of Cardiff Law School.
All modules under the new programme will meet the CPD requirements of the Solicitors Regulation Authority and the Bar Standards Board. Students will also benefit from a module in Postgraduate Research Skills and Support as well as focused Personal Development Planning.
