Tel Aviv University offers exciting international LLM program
Tel Aviv University has an exciting new LLM program that is opening up new vistas in the law to international students.
The Bonita Trust International LLM program offers three study tracks to international students – Law, Global Governance and Human Rights; Law, State and Religion; and Law and Technology – and these enable the lawyers to choose their area of specialisation and choose from over 50 English-taught modules. This LLM program is taught out of TAU’s Buchmann Faculty of Law – which is ranked first in Israel and among the top law schools in the world in research impact.
Senior Advisor to the Bonita Trust in Israel, Eran Brauer, says, “The Trust is supporting various cross-border projects that enable foreign students to benefit from an excellent academic level and entrepreneurial environment in Israel. The LLM Program is a great example of fruitful cooperation between us and the university. Eventually, the program’s graduates will return to their home countries and become goodwill ambassadors for Israel.”
For Tammy Pustilnick, 27, a lawyer from Chile, Israel was an ideal place to study international and humanitarian law. She explains, “Studying in Israel during that time has been like a learning laboratory.” She continues, “On this program I gained so much knowledge about what international law actually says about conflict situations. It is important to be informed and understand the legality of everything since the issues are very complicated.”
