The one-year bilingual Master’s program “European and International Law” offered by the Europa-Institut awards the title “Master of Laws (LL.M.)” and focuses on the specialized study of European and international law.
Every academic year, 75 students from more than 30 countries come to study the legal, political, economic and cultural foundations of the European Union and their impact in an increasingly globalized world. The Master’s program consists of a unique mixture of lectures, seminars, interactive exercises, language courses, communication skills training and discussions, thereby complementing academic qualifications and allowing for an optimal combination of theoretical knowledge and practical application.
Students at the Europa-Institut study in a multicultural, international learning environment and are taught by a faculty of international, high-quality lecturers from the European Commission, the Council, the European Parliament and the European Courts of Justice, as well as members of various judicial, business, administrative and political sectors who help prepare students for the specific demands of the European and international job market.
Graduates of the program hold top positions in European and international organizations, law firms, national governments and international companies.
