Attorney from India expands knowledge and connections through Southwestern Law School’s unique Entertainment LL.M. program
Persis Hodiwalla is an entertainment lawyer who aspires to develop strong industry ties between India and the rest of the world. Prior to attending Southwestern Law School to pursue a Masters of Law degree in Entertainment & Media Law, she spent six years working for various entertainment and media firms in India, where she drafted and executed contracts, handled negotiations and developed business agendas.
Hodiwalla earned a law degree from Jitendra Chauhan College of Law in Mumbai, and a post graduate degree in Media & Entertainment Law from the National Academy of Legal Studies & Research (NALSAR) University in Hyderabad, India. She will earn her LL.M. degree from Southwestern in 2015.
“Having worked as an in-house entertainment legal counsel for many years, Southwestern Law School was my only choice for pursuing my LL.M. in Entertainment & Media Law,” Hodiwalla said. “Southwestern offers more than 60 courses related to entertainment law, and I’m able to focus on just what I need to excel in this field. The entire faculty and staff at Southwestern are amazing and helpful as they work each day with me to make my dreams come true. I am very happy and proud to be here at Southwestern.”
