As a student in the World Trade Law Track, you will interact with professionals at the World Trade Center Indianapolis, along with representatives of Indiana companies doing international business and trade, and individuals from companies throughout the world doing business with Indiana.

You will have the opportunity to pursue an externship with the WTC Indianapolis, where you will gain practical experience in the management of trade and investment transactions and commercial relations between two or more countries and legal systems. Activities range from negotiation and implementation of one-off export-import transactions to shepherding a foreign investor in his/her quest to build a commercial presence in Indiana. Similarly, you can work with Indiana companies seeking to incorporate or develop an affiliate abroad. Your experience will include research and ultimately document drafting and negotiations.
