Summary
The LLM Professional Legal Practice has been specifically designed to align with the requirements of the Solicitors Qualifying Examination (SQE1&2), combining core knowledge and practical legal skills to provide essential preparation for law graduates looking to qualify as Solicitors in England & Wales via the SQE examinations.
It offers you the opportunity to gain a master’s award, attain legal knowledge and skills, and prepare for life in legal practice.
The programme is delivered over the course of one academic year (full time) or two years (part time) and is taught in two stages – stage 1 focuses on the core practice areas, with stage 2 focusing on developing your professional legal skills within the context of those core practice areas.
The programme culminates with an opportunity for you to undertake directed independent learning, authentic to the legal profession, which focuses on practical legal research and drafting.
This programme will provide you with comprehensive preparation for the SQE1 and SQE2 assessments together with a solid foundation for your career as a solicitor.
