The University of Minnesota Law School is consistently ranked one of the top 25 law schools in the U.S. by U.S. News and World Report. LL.M. students may earn one of three LL.M. degrees: the general LL.M. degree with the option to earn one of 11 concentrations (listed below), the Business Law LL.M. degree, or the Patent Law LL.M. degree. Students are encouraged to participate in LEAD, an intensive pre-LL.M. summer program focusing on legal English and legal skills.
