Summary
Approved by the Solicitors Regulation Authority, our LPC/LLM is based on work-related skills training to enable you to progress in your legal career. Throughout the course, you will strengthen your legal skills with the addition of negotiation and mediation sessions, all key skills for future lawyers. Programme code M25091.
If you would like to study for an LLM in Legal Practice, you will undertake an additional dissertation module during your third term. You will also need to apply using programme code M25099.
Successful completion of all elements of the LLM in Legal Practice will result in the award of a master’s degree – an internationally recognised qualification.

Entry requirements | Generally, you should have completed the academic stage of your training by obtaining either a qualifying law degree with a minimum pass of 2:2 or the Graduate Diploma in Law (GDL/CPE). Character and suitability: You will only be eligible to be admitted as a solicitor if you meet the SRA’s requirements relating to character and suitability. If you are worried that a matter may prevent you from qualifying as a solicitor, we strongly recommend that you ask them to assess any character and suitability issues before you start the LPC. If you have any concerns about this please refer to the SRA website. |
