We provide our law students with a global focus, taught in an intimate setting with small classes and a personalised approach. The postgraduate law programs are taught by leading national and international experts, and students are encouraged to pursue a specialisation in their area of interest.

Specialise with a Master of Laws at Bond University

With a professional emphasis and an opportunity to specialise, the Master of Laws is designed to realise the educational and career aspirations of the global lawyer. 

Specialisations that are available to students include:

  • Corporate and Commercial Law and Practice
  • Enterprise Governance
  • Family Dispute Resolution
  • International Business and Finance Law
  • Dispute Resolution
  • Canadian Law and Practice

In addition, students can study an online LLM in International Commercial Law and Dispute Resolution in any of Bond's three semesters: January, May or September. The specialisation comprises four double subjects on topics such as International Sales and Transport Law, International Commercial Dispute Resolution, International Corporate Law and Fundamentals of Intellectual Property. 

Students studying the online LLM in International Commercial Law and Dispute Resolution Specialisation will also receive free access to the following bonus modules:

  • Features of Common Law and Civil Law Systems
  • Legal Research and Writing
  • Legal and Compliance Risk
  • Professional Ethics for the Global Lawyer

Eligibility Requirements
To be eligible to study the on-campus or online LLM program at Bond University students must have completed a professional law qualification such as a Bachelor of Laws, Juris Doctor or equivalent. Applicants from a non-English speaking background must achieve an IELTS score of at least 6.5. Bond also accepts other English language tests including TOEFL and CAE.
