Our Programmes
LL.M. Law in a European and Global Context
This one-of-a-kind program offers a truly global legal education, going beyond traditional European and International Law. Taught by an international faculty, it explores law across multiple jurisdictions using innovative, cross-border approaches.
As the legal world becomes increasingly globalized, this LL.M. equips students with the skills and adaptability needed to succeed in diverse legal systems. It’s a challenging yet rewarding experience that drives both intellectual growth and career advancement.
LL.M. in International Business Law
The LL.M. in International Business Law is designed for graduates and young lawyers aiming to build a global career. The program offers an innovative approach to International, Anglo-American, and European business law, covering key areas such as corporate law, arbitration, cross-border transactions, finance, and tax.
Students join a diverse international community, enriched by visiting practitioners and taught by leading scholars and top lawyers from renowned universities and firms. Through interactive, case-based learning, participants develop the practical and analytical skills essential for success in today’s global legal market.
LL.M. Law in a Digital Economy
Digital technologies are reshaping the legal world. From AI and blockchain to the metaverse, this program prepares students to tackle the complex challenges of the digital economy.
It begins with an intensive tech bootcamp and offers modules on intellectual property, data protection, platform regulation, and more. Through hands-on projects and collaboration, students develop the critical and adaptive skills needed to work with regulators, startups, and global tech companies.
Executive LL.M. Regulation and Compliance
This innovative Executive LL.M. in Regulation and Compliance is designed for professionals seeking to strengthen their expertise in regulatory frameworks and corporate compliance.
Covering key areas such as finance, trade, and digital platforms, the program prepares you to manage evolving challenges in sustainability, pay transparency, and data protection.
Developed in partnership with Miles in the Sky, it combines mission-based learning with real-world case studies. The hybrid format includes two on-site weeks in Lisbon and Porto, plus regular live online sessions—offering flexibility, collaboration, and hands-on experience.
Following the curricular year of the LL.M. programmes, students may enroll in our Master in Transnational Law (MTL) programme. This will allow them to submit and defend a masters’ thesis, in order to obtain a Masters Diploma.
As MTL candidates, students are encouraged to do a semester abroad, by taking advantage of the agreements that Católica Global School of Law has with top American and European schools, such as Cornell (USA), Washington University (USA), Leuven (Belgium) or Tilburg (The Netherlands).
