Training requirements to qualify as a solicitor

Completing this course will partly fulfil the vocational stage of your training to qualify as a solicitor. Recognised by the Solicitors Regulation Authority, it meets the authority's training requirements and covers a range of legal subjects prescribed by the professional body.

As part of this course, you’ll:

  • Focus on realistic case studies and take part in workshops that explore the challenges of professional practice

  • Be taught by a team of academic staff who are qualified lawyers with wide-ranging professional experience that will feed into your learning

  • Be supported by staff through a variety of option modules as you start to explore areas of interest

  • Learning to suit you

  • Designed to be as flexible as possible, this course will give you the option to study on campus or via online distance learning. If you choose our online distance learning delivery, you’ll be able to access our live LPC workshops anywhere in the world using Microsoft Teams. You’ll also have the opportunity to attend some on-campus sessions during key times such as induction, revision and for employability events
