Chevening application window announced

Chevening ScholarshipsIf you are an international student and want to study a Master of Laws degree program at a top UK law school, you should consider becoming a Chevening Scholar.

Chevening Scholarships are opening on Tuesday 4th August and applications will be accepted until Tuesday 6th October 2026. These scholarships are awarded to international students who can demonstrate that they have the commitment and skills required to become future leaders, and can show how a UK Master of Laws degree or other eligible masters course will help them to create positive change in their home country.

Chevening Scholarships provide full financial support for scholars to study any eligible masters degree, including an LLM degree program, at over 150 UK universities. Chevening Scholars also gain access to a wide range of exclusive academic, professional and cultural experiences.

There are approximately 700 awards on offer globally for the 2027/2028 academic year.

Shakhnoza Menglieva is a currently studying at the University of Nottingham as a Chevening Scholar. In her recent article in the Postgrad Blog she advised, “Don’t be afraid to apply, be honest about your path, and remember: if you have a clear understanding of your goals and are willing to work on yourself, you already have a strong foundation for a successful application.”
