Edinburgh Law School has fully funded LLM scholarship

Edinburgh Law SchoolEdinburgh Law School is offering an LLM Access Scholarship worth £21,250 for an LLM student starting their course in the 2026-2027 academic year.

The Edinburgh LLM Access Scholarship is a new scholarship established for University of Edinburgh Law School LLB (Hons) graduates, it covers full LLM tuition fees, together with residual funds to offer a stipend to the recipient.

This scholarship is specifically for widening participation students who have Scotland domiciled fee status and are currently studying an LLB (Hons) degree at the University of Edinburgh.

If the successful candidate is on a full-time course, the stipend element shall be paid to the recipient at the start of their LLM, whilst if the students is on a part-time LLM, payments will be split across years one and two, and will be payable at the start of each year.

This scholarship is for students transitioning directly from LLB (Hons) study at The University of Edinburgh onto taught LLM study at the university in the 2026-2027 academic year. No application is required for the scholarship, applicants who meet the eligibility criteria will be identified by the School of Law.

The deadline for applying to a taught, on-campus, LLM degree at the University of Edinburgh for September 2026 entry is Monday 4th May 2026.
