Unique LLM connecting Entertainment, Arts and Sports Law offered at University of Miami
Available only at The University of Miami School of Law, the Entertainment, Arts and Sports Law LLM meets the needs for lawyers who need experience and specific expertise as the lines between sports, entertainment and arts intersect.
It is designed for US and foreign-based law students and attorneys who counsel professionals and companies in these fields. Additionally, attorneys who are also practicing in these areas may find that the program can help them be better prepared to address emerging and novel issues.
Students get a wide range of skills in the interconnecting areas of entertainment, arts and sports law while honing their specific area of interest with a choice of 3 specialisations: Entertainment Track Specialization, Sports Track Specialisation and Arts Track Specialisation.

Taught by prominent faculty and practicing attorneys, students study this combined graduate degree to focus on areas of law that in today’s world are expanding, and at times, converging.
Hands-on learning
In addition to unique courses, this program offers a practical skills component as well as hands-on practicum experiences where students work directly with lawyers.
Miami is one such city where there are incredible practicum experiences that crisscross the entertainment, sports, and arts areas. The Greater Miami area is home to four major league sports teams in American football, basketball, baseball, and hockey. For entertainment students have worked at HBO, HBO Latin America, Ultra Music Festival, BBC Worldwide and NBC Universal Global Networks, Warner Music, International and Spanish-language powerhouses Telemundo and Univision. For art Miami is immersed in the arts and home to Art Bael, Perez Art Museum and Wynwood Walls.
