Summary
A Master of Laws (LLM) in International Child Law is a postgraduate degree designed for both law and non-law graduates to enhance their academic legal knowledge. This internationally recognised Master’s focuses on a range of issues related to the rights of children helping you to develop the skills and knowledge needed to progress in a career within family law and family support, charities, humanitarian sector, immigration, policy advisory, and regulation.
This course provides an in depth knowledge of International Child Law in practice including an ability to apply complex legal rules to real world problems. You will develop an in-depth understanding of the international framework of the United Nations Convention on the Rights of the Child and the right to healthcare. You will also explore key issues such as child labour, international child abduction, and intercountry adoption.
