Summary
The aim of this course is to provide students with the opportunity to study integral parts of the international banking and financial system. On successfully completing the course, students understand and are able to comment critically on such fundamental issues as the importance of effective and proportionate financial regulation, the impact of the credit crunch, the necessity for corporate social responsibility and the increasing significance of ethical banking.

Entry requirements | Applicants should hold a law Honours degree (minimum 2.2) from a recognised higher education institution or equivalent from a recognised overseas institution. Candidates who have successfully completed the common professional examination (CPE) will also be considered for admission onto the course. Non law graduates will also be considered for admission if they have relevant experience or if they have a degree in a related area of study such as business, politics or international relations. Applicants whose 1st language is not English will need to demonstrate their English language proficiency with either: a minimum grade of 6.5 overall on the British Council International English Language Test (IELTS) or a TOEFL score of at least 600 (written) or 250 (computer) scale. |
