Summary
This course provides students with an opportunity to examine aspects of the international legal regime. The international law and institutions module examines the key legal principles and rules which underpin the international legal system. The course is designed for students with an interest in international law, who wish to develop a contextual and critical understanding of key issues, relating to the contemporary international legal regime. The flexible structure of the programme allows students to tailor their studies to include topics that particularly interest them, such as world trade, human rights or the environment.

Entry requirements | Applicants should hold a law Honours degree (minimum 2.2) from a recognised higher education institution or equivalent from a recognised overseas institution. Candidates who have successfully completed the common professional examination (CPE) are also considered for admission onto the course. Non law graduates are also considered for admission if they have relevant experience or if they have a degree in a related area of study such as business, politics or international relations. Applicants whose 1st language is not English need to demonstrate their English language proficiency with either a minimum grade of 6.5 overall on the British Council International English Language Test (IELTS) or a TOEFL score of at least 600 (written) or 250 (computer) scale. |
