London South Bank
School of Law
At London South Bank University, we have over 30 years experience in training and developing lawyers, and it shows. Our professional accredited postgraduate courses will equip students with an in-depth knowledge of practice and procedure across the law disciplines opening up careers in a variety of areas.
Our teaching is focussed around three themes: core legal skills, employability and focussed legal learning. We provide flexibility for students to personalise their learning experience, across a range of specialist modules, such as terrorism, commercial arbitration and policing. Along the way, students will develop their professional and practical skills, experience and confidence alongside local legal professional practitioners, gaining an in-depth understanding across specialisms.
Our teaching is focussed on bringing the modern world into the classroom. Many of our teachers are qualified solicitors and barristers, passing on their insights, real-world case expertise and passion for law. We’re also home to the award-winning Legal Advice Clinic, staffed by students under the supervision of practising solicitors. Members of the public can drop in for free legal advice, giving our students the opportunity to experience real-life situations, to interact with clients and to learn from skilled practitioners.
