Our focus areas help you shape your future practice: Intellectual Property boasts the largest full-time faculty in the field and our IP library is the largest in the nation; Commerce and Technology is built to tackle evolving legal issues facing new business and e-commerce in the global information age economy; while International Criminal Law and Justice addresses fast-paced developments in the globalization of commerce, terrorism, human rights, and criminal law.

Accredited by the American Bar Association, UNH Franklin Pierce Law is in Concord, New Hampshire, home to the state's legislature, state offices, as well as local, state and U.S. federal courts. Concord is just an hour's drive from Boston, less than an hour from mountains, lakes and the Atlantic Ocean and less than five hours from New York City and Montreal.

LL.M. in Commerce & Technology
Our Commerce & Technology LLM focuses on enriching your career in the emerging areas of business created by rapid technological change and globalization.  

LL.M. in Intellectual Property
Our Intellectual Property Law program has been ranked among the Top 10 in the country for more than 25 years. The UNH Law library includes the only academic IP library in the Western Hemisphere and is designated an Official Patent and Trademark Resource Center.

LL.M. in International Criminal Law & Justice
Our online International Criminal Law and Justice LLM is an excellent fit for practicing lawyers, professionals, students, and scholars in diplomatic, criminal justice, military, and law enforcement communities around the world. Students will study transnational law, focused on domestic crimes with international implications.

Entry requirements
Domestic applicants must hold a bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university and a J.D. degree from a law school prior to matriculation in any UNH Franklin Pierce School of Law LL.M. program.

International applicants must hold a baccalaureate law degree from a foreign law school. 

Scholarships and funding
UNH Franklin Pierce School of Law offers scholarships to qualified students. Applicants to our residential programs are considered for scholarships based on the review of their application for admission. There is no separate application process for scholarships. Cost of tuition for the 2019-2020 Academic Year is $38,460. Additional information about tuition and fees is available here.
