Summary

The concentration in U.S. Law for Foreign Lawyers is a flexible program that provides students with a foreign law degree with the opportunity to focus on a particular area of study or to gain a broad foundation in U.S. law by taking courses in a variety of areas. Students take both basic and advanced courses. The U.S. Law for Foreign Lawyers concentration works very well for students from a non-common law background who intend to take either the Texas or New York Bar, as this concentration provides for the needed curricular flexibility to enroll both in courses required by each Bar and in courses that fit their academic and professional interests
