Summary
The course engages the students in critical analysis of the legal aspects of sustainable development and acknowledges that environmental law needs to be considered along with the social and economic dimensions of development. In addition the course also explores global environmental issues such as climate change, biodiversity protection, water management and renewable energy from the perspective of both developed and developing countries.

Entry requirements | Applicants should hold a law Honours degree (minimum 2.2) from a recognised higher education institution or equivalent from a recognised overseas institution. Candidates who have successfully completed the common professional examination (CPE) will also be considered for admission onto the course. Non law graduates will also be considered for admission if they have relevant experience or if they have a degree in a related area of study such as business, politics or international relations. Applicants whose 1st language is not English, will need to demonstrate their English language proficiency with either a minimum grade of 6.5 overall on the British Council International English Language Test (IELTS) or a TOEFL score of at least 600 (written) or 250 (computer) scale. |
