Strathclyde Law School launches new LLM Competition Law
Strathclyde Law School is delighted to announce the launch of a new online LLM in Competition Law.
This new Master of Laws program has been specifically designed to enhance students’ expertise in competition law, regulation of monopolies, mergers and anti-trust legislation.
The LLM will be conducted via distance learning and will teach students skills in understanding and interpreting legislation, jurisprudence and soft law regulating competition and will be taught by highly active academic staff who are published regularly in relevant top-tier journals.
Speaking about this exciting new postgraduate law course, Program Leader, Professor Barry Rodger, says, “We are delighted to offer this new bespoke online LLM. It will give students an opportunity to enhance their expertise in Competition Law policy, enforcement, legal practice and business compliance – all of which will improve their employability in the area.”
Areas of study include the principles of economic competition, public policy relating to competition, private enforcement and competition in the digital economy.
The course can be studied full-time over 12 months or part-time over 24 months. Students can apply for a £2,500 reduction in tuition fees thanks to scholarships from the Strathclyde Centre for Antitrust Law and Empirical Study (SCALES).
