The LLM in LegalTech puts you at the forefront of a fast-growing field, opening up exciting career opportunities to harness the power of technology in the legal profession.
Artificial Intelligence and related technologies are playing a rapidly increasing role in legal practice. This innovative and topical master’s programme will give you the skills to understand and embrace this new tech, to innovate, and to put ‘LegalTech’ into practice.
You will explore how technologies such as Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Blockchain impact legal services. You will also have the opportunity to work with AI systems, to develop LegalTech apps and solutions, to become comfortable working with Big Data, and to understand the legal and regulatory challenges associated with technology.

Entry requirements | The course is aimed at law graduates and practitioners working at all levels of the legal profession. Students on this programme are not expected to have prior experience of coding or working with technology. We welcome applications by prospective students from around the world. Ideally you’ll hold a 2:1 degree in law or computer science, although we will consider candidates with a 2:2 based on their overall and individual module performance. Candidates with relevant experience are also strongly encouraged to apply. If English is not your first language you will need an acceptable pass in an approved English Language qualification such as the IELTS test (with an overall score of at least 6.5 and a minimum of 6.0 in each component). |
