CEPMLP alumnus appointed Ghanaian Minister Designate for Lands & Natural Resources
The President of Ghana, Nana Akuffo Addo, has given John-Peter Amewu – a former student at CEPMLP (Centre for Energy, Petroleum and Mineral Law and Policy) at the University of Dundee – the role of Minister Designate for Lands and Natural Resources in Ghana.
John Peter Amewu is from Ghana, and has an MBA from the University of Ghana as well as an Executive MBA in International Energy Industry Management and a Masters in Petroleum Law and Policy from CEPMLP. He has more than 15 years’ experience in Government, Private Sector, Civil Society and International Development Organisations, and is known for his eloquence, pro-activeness, innovation and analytical skills.
President Akufo-Addo says that John-Peter will be the most capable person to handle the Ministry for Lands and Natural Resources because of his experience, knowledge and contribution to the Mining and Energy sectors in Ghana.
