CEPMLP and CUPB launch MSc in Energy Finance Dual degree program
The Centre for Energy, Petroleum and Mineral Law and Policy (CEPMLP) at the University of Dundee and the China University of Petroleum, Beijing (CUPB) have signed an articulation agreement and a Memorandum of Understanding on a proposed MSc in Energy Finance Dual degree program.
The agreement was signed by Principal Pete Downes from CEPMLP and CUPB President Zhang Laibin on a recent trip to Beijing by several members of the CEPMLP team. According to the MOU, students will study one year in China at CUPB and one year in the UK at University of Dundee, and after this period of time they will be awarded a masters degree at both institutions.
During his visit to Beijing, Principal Pete Downes also hosted an alumni gathering of six CEPMLP alumni including Dr Sun Xiansheng, Secretary General of International Energy Forum.
