Edinburgh Law School hosting Human Rights conference
The Association of Human Rights Institutes Annual Conference is going to be held at Edinburgh Law School in September – and Anne Roosevelt will be delivering the closing address.
Anne Roosevelt – the granddaughter of Franklin D Roosevelt and Eleanor Roosevelt will deliver an address entitled “Nevertheless, She Persisted”, which be a tribute to Eleanor, an essential figure in the Universal Declaration of Human Rights.
The conference – hosted by the Global Justice Academy and Edinburgh Law School – will mark the 70th anniversary of the Universal Declaration of Human Rights, and will feature over 100 speakers.
The Association of Human Rights Institutes Annual Conference will take place from 6-8 September 2018.
