Exeter Law School professor is honoured for cyber law research excellence
A professor from Exeter Law School has been honoured for his research excellence in the field of cyber law.
Professor Michael Schmitt – who holds a dual-appointment at the United States Naval War College as the Charles H Stockton Professor – was recently honoured by the US Naval War College as its outstanding research scholar for 2017-2018.
This award recognises the global acclaim of his international cyber law project Tallinn Manual 2.0, which features extensive research into the international law applicable to cyber operations. And Tallinn Manual 2.0 is now the basis for cyber law policing efforts for government officials around the world.
