Great postgrad funding opportunities on offer at CEPMLP
CEPMLP (the Centre for Energy, Petroleum and Mineral Law and Policy) at the University of Dundee is offering a selection of great funding opportunities for postgraduate students.
Applications have just opened for their PhD Research Scholarships. These scholarships are available for three years and cover full tuition fees, with successful applicants having access to all the resources of the CEPMLP PhD, including limited support for travel. Applications to a PhD research scholarship are welcome in any area of current research interest, and applicants should complete an application form for admission as a research student to the University of Dundee indicating on the form that CEPMLP is the academic department and that you are applying for a CEPMLP scholarship. Applicants should have a good first degree and masters in a relevant field, and need to send a 250-word personal statement stating interest in the scholarship and why you’re a worthy recipient. Applications must be received by 30th June 2017 and a decision will be made by 31st July with the successful candidate(s) taking up the scholarship from September 2017.
CEPMLP is also offering funded spaces for its MSc in Managing in the Energy Industries Program. This course is designed to help those who wish to establish or further their careers in the energy industries such as power, oil, gas, or mining. The University of Dundee has a limited number of fully-funded places to eligible students as part of an initiative from the Scottish Funding Council (SFC) designed to support key sectors in the Scottish economy.
