Kent Law School professor is made Fellow of Academy of Social Sciences
A senior professor at Kent Law School – Professor Davina Cooper – has been made a Fellow of the Academy of Social Sciences.
The Fellow of the Academy of Social Sciences is the representative body of the social sciences in the United Kingdom, and it draws its Fellows from academics, practitioners and policymakers across the social sciences, who are recognised for the excellence and impact of their work.
Professor Cooper is the Professor of Law and Political Theory at the Kent Law School at the University of Kent and she is internationally known for her work on the British state’s relationship to sexuality. Previously she has been the Director of the AHRC Research Centre for Law, Gender & Sexuality.
