Suffolk University Boston Law School is launching a new Master of Science in Law: Life Sciences (MSLL) to give students knowledge and skills in the life sciences sector.
This new MSLL degree has been designed for professionals with business, law or science backgrounds, and will have a multidisciplinary curriculum that will prepare graduates for a career in the life sciences arena, including the biotechnology and pharmaceutical sectors. The MSLL curriculum will be taught by experts from across Suffolk University, including its Law School, Sawyer Business School and College of Arts & Sciences. It will include modules on: Scientific and statistical principles relevant to biotechnology and pharmaceutical sectors; Drug development process and administrative regulation; Regulatory compliance; and Biotechnology business and the law.
Suffolk Law Dean, Andrew Perlman, explains, “We’re offering this new degree to give people the knowledge and skills they need to excel in the life sciences sector. That’s especially significant since it’s one of the fastest growing employment areas in the Greater Boston area.”
The MSLL program can be completed full time or part time and is currently pending ABA acquiescence. Applications will be accepted starting in early 2020.
