Dundee Law School offers distance LLM in International Dispute Resolution
For those who are unable to commit to the traditional campus based law study experience, Dundee Law School offers an LLM in International Dispute Resolution, one of the fastest growing areas of legal practice. This unique distance learning programme is taught by a team of internationally-recognised academics and practitioner-trainers.
The distance learning virtual seminars are supplemented by two 5-day residential periods focused on practical negotiation and mediation skills. The programme will appeal to LLB qualified professionals who seek to gain skill and knowledge in this growing field, as well as practitioners who want to diversify. It will also appeal to LLB graduates or equivalent degree, who wish to gain a detailed understanding of International and European (primarily Commercial) policies and rules of importance to the settlement of disputes in international business, legal or governmental settings.
It is possible to complete the distance-based LLM degree in 15-18 months (depending on choice of modules) though there is sufficient flexibility to extend the study period for up to 5 years. For those who need further flexibility in qualifications gained there are exit options to complete with either the Certificate or the Diploma in International Dispute Resolution.
