Edinburgh Law School announces scholarships for LLM students

The University of Edinburgh Law School is delighted to announce The Binks Trust Scholarships to support students taking the LLM in European Law. This new initiative forms part of a wider effort by the School of Law, its alumni and supporters, to enhance financial support for its students at all levels in the context of the School’s 300th anniversary celebrations in 2007.

The award comprises Home/EU LLM in European Law fees and a £500 study support grant to assist with related learning costs, such as the purchase of books, printing costs, photocopying costs, etc.

The award will be available to graduates who have an outstanding academic record in law; preference will be given to candidates who are ordinarily resident in the United Kingdom (minimum of three years preceding application).

Applications should be made in parallel with the application for the LLM in European Law. The closing date for the receipt of applications for 2010-2011 will be Monday 31st May 2010.

Applicants must send an email to indicating that they wish to apply for a Binks Trust Scholarship, and they must also apply for the LLM in European Law through the normal university application route.
