Former Birmingham City law student is offering paid internship
Students starting a Legal Practice Course (LPC) at Birmingham City University in September 2013 have the opportunity to get a six-month paid internship at a local solicitors which could then lead on to a Training Contract.
This fantastic opportunity will be given to the student who enrols on the LPC course and achieves the highest mark on the Immigration Elective exam.
The winner will then have the chance to intern at Syeds LawCare Solicitors in Birmingham – which is run by Daniel Syed who did his degree and LPC at Birmingham City University and whose practice specialises in Immigration Law. He explains, “I really enjoyed my time as a student at Birmingham City University. The quality of the degree and LPC are excellent. It has put me in good stead to set-up and manage my own practice. I also think it is important to support and engage with the next generation of lawyers coming through.”
Mr Syed is a visiting lecturer at the School of Law at BCU and will be teaching the students who study the Immigration elective module.
