Kent Law School is hosting a Postgraduate Open Evening

On Wednesday 2nd December Kent Law School will be present at the University of Kent’s Postgraduate Open Evening which takes place between 5-8pm at Woolf College at the University of Kent. Academic staff will be available to talk about the 13 different taught LLM programmes and the research opportunities up to PhD level available at Kent Law School.

Kent Law School was recently rated as the sixth best law school in the UK in the 2008 Research Assessment Exercise, with this rating reflecting the exciting and dynamic research and teaching that takes place within the Law School.

Postgraduate LLM degrees at Kent Law School are diverse, with subjects ranging from Environmental Law, to Criminal Justice, Commercial Law, International Law, European Law, Medical Law, and with the opportunity to combine two programmes or to create one bespoke LLM. The diversity of programmes means that a first degree in law is not always a pre-requisite for entry.

Postgraduate students at Kent study within a close knit, supportive and vibrant academic environment with a culture based around critical research.  Kent Law School is home to a variety of research centres, including the Kent Centre for Critical International Law, the Kent Centre for European and Comparative Law, the Kent Centre for Law, Gender and Sexuality, and the Kent Criminal Justice Centre.

The University of Kent has recently invested heavily in postgraduate education, building a postgraduate college (Woolf College) which contains accommodation and state of the art teaching facilities.

The Postgraduate Open Evening will take place in Woolf College this Wednesday evening.
