King’s College London announces new Medical LLM for 2010
King’s College London School of Law is offering a new LLM in Medical Law for September 2010. Due to its dedicated Centre of Medical Law and Ethics, King’s College London is particularly well regarded in this area - it already has a long-standing MA in Medical Ethics and Law. This Centre will now also run the new LLM in Medical Law.
Students will study in seminars aimed to provide insights into the effects of law on the reality of medical practice. The faculty are experienced in teaching students from diverse academic and professional backgrounds. Their research interests are wide-ranging and complementary, including end of life issues, reproductive ethics and law, social justice and resource allocation, mental health law and psychiatric ethics.
The application deadline for this and other King's LLM programmes for entry September 2010 is Wednesday March 31, 2010.
