LLM students get opportunities to work abroad!

City Law SchoolCity University London is offering law students on its LLM in International Commercial Law program the chance to do their internships in Europe after forging links with three global law firms - Shearman & Sterling LLP, Sidley Austin LLP and Stibbe.

Director of the LLM Program at The City Law School, City University London, Professor Alan Riley, explains, “We are delighted to work with such major, cutting edge international legal practices. The internships give the winning students the opportunity to blend the knowledge that he or she develops on our International Commercial Law LLM courses with first-rate practical commercial experience at some of the world's top law firms. Each of the successful students will gain invaluable insight into modern practice at the highest level.”

This latest partnership continues a trend among law schools to link up with large legal practices to offer their law students fantastic opportunities, for example the Dickson Poon School of Law’s recent link up with Reed Smith.
