Metro Bank offers Professional Studies Loans to ULaw students

Metro Bank has opened applications for its new Professional Studies Loan for Legal Studies. It is currently only available to University of Law students, and is aimed at those studying for a graduate diploma in law (GDL), a bar professional training course (BPTC) or a legal practice course (LPC).

The loan can cover either all or part of the tuition, and some living fees are also available. The minimum amount you can borrow is £1,000 with the maximum reaching £25,000. With deferred repayment options for up to six months after graduating, and five years to repay with no charges for early repayment, it’s a financially sound choice.

John Latham, President and CEO at The University of Law (ULaw) explains, “Our partnership with Metro Bank underlines our commitment to providing students with the best opportunities to enter the legal services sector. The new loan scheme will help us to continue attracting the best talent from a diverse range of backgrounds.”
