New LLM internship opportunities available at Warwick Law School

Warwick Law SchoolWarwick Law School has a fantastic new internship opportunity for current LLM students to undertake a funded internship in India. This great opportunity – for 2015 – is related to the area of Public Interest Litigation, and has come about via a joint initiative between Warwick Law School and the Kapila Hingorani Foundation.

There are two funded internships and they are open to all registered LLM students who have a dissertation topic linked to Public Interest Litigation. The internships cover travel and associated costs and will take place in India for2-3 weeks in April-May 2015. The lucky recipients of these internships will be selected by a 1,000 word essay competition

The Kapila Hingorani Foundation will put together the program structured around the student’s interest/research and should include the chance to see PIL advocacy in action. The students will also have the chance to visit various institutions such as the Supreme Court of India, the Delhi High Court and specialised tribunals relevant to the interest/research of the student.

Warwick Law School is hoping to offer these internships in future years as well.
