New scholarships and bursaries continue to help law students
In our current bleak economic climate law schools and legal firms are very much aware of the need to ensure that law students who want to continue to postgraduate level are able to do so. Therefore to make sure these law students fulfil their potential, law schools and firms are continuously launching new bursaries and scholarships.
In keeping with this trend last week saw the launch of the Dickson Poon Scholarship Programme, which is the biggest ever law scholarship programme in the United Kingdom and Europe.
The Dickson Poon Law School at King’s College London is now offering 80 scholarships, five of which are aimed at postgraduate law students!
Vice Principal of King’s College London, Professor Sir Lawrence Freedman, explains: “The Dickson Poon Scholarship Programme is the best and largest of its kind for Law in this country and aims to attract the brightest and most talented legal scholars and students to The Dickson Poon School of Law.”
Mr Dickson Poon says, “The scholarships will help to enable exemplary students with academic agility and unlimited ambition to develop into future global leaders in all areas of law, business, education and civil society.”
