Nottingham Law School's Legal Advice Centre turns one

Nottingham Law SchoolThe Legal Advice Centre at Nottingham Law School celebrates its first birthday this month. More than 220 Nottingham Law School students have been involved in the Legal Advice Centre in the last 12 months, and all of Nottingham Law School's pro bono activity comes under the Centre. Since opening in June 2014 it has given the locals community over 10,000 hours of free legal advice.

Nick Johnson, the Director of the Legal Advice Centre, enthuses, “We're delighted to be celebrating the Centre's first birthday, especially as this year we have been able to significantly increase the amount of pro bono work we have done for our local community. The Centre is a fantastic facility which provides an important service to the public while at the same time giving real-life legal experience to more students than ever before."
