QMUL launches LLM in Energy and Natural Resources Law
Queen Mary, University of London has introduced a new LLM in Energy and Natural Resources Law, with the course’s first students set to start in September 2013. The energy and natural resources sector is experiencing rapid growth in the economy and along with this growth have come major regulatory and transactional challenges, prompting the need for graduate level study of these areas.
Queen Mary’s new LLM is the first to cover this subject matter in England. It looks at energy from a comparative, international and inter-disciplinary perspective, focusing on regulatory and transactional matters and building on established expertise at Queen Mary such as Commercial Law, Dispute Resolution, Environmental Law and Regulation.
This Master of Laws will offer students the choice and flexibility to specialise in an area of their choosing or to study law more generally. It also teaches research skills and methodologies and prepares lawyers to work in the field of energy and natural resources in the UK and overseas.
