Singapore Management University launches LLM programme
The School of Law at Singapore Management University is launching an LLM programme.
Dean of the School of Law, Professor Michael Furmston, says, "The SMU LLM programme is designed to meet the growing needs of legal professionals in the region and beyond. As alternative dispute resolution gains pace in Asia, Singapore is fast becoming the preferred venue for resolution. Also, being in the heart of the largest Muslim population in the world, Singapore is well-positioned to be in the forefront of innovation and growth in Islamic finance."
The SMU LLM is a modular one-year programme where participants read a total of 8 courses comprising 2 Prescribed, 4 Specialisation Courses, and 2 Free Electives. Three specialisations are available LLM in Commercial Law, LLM in Dispute Resolution and LLM in Islamic Law & Finance.
