SwanseaIn the recent Research Assessment Exercise (RAE 2008), an evaluation of the quality of research across the UK higher education institutions, 95% of research conducted in the School has been recognised to have achieved an international standard. This breadth of international level of research activity was attained by only 11 of the 67 law schools in the RAE. Commenting on the success which the School has enjoyed in recent months, Dr B Soyer, Director of Taught Master Schemes, said: 'Our taught master programmes in the realm of commercial and maritime law, taught by a team of experts, have always been a popular choice for students from the UK and abroad. As the international reputation of the School reaches a high level, this will undoubtedly put Swansea graduates in a pivotal position in the increasingly competetive job market.'
